Estimator/Project Manager - Concrete Construction

About the role

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co., the Midwest's leading concrete sawing and drilling contractor, is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager for their Wheeling, IL location. Responsibilities

- Handle inbound estimate requests - Support the outside sales team - Work closely with management and ownership - Provide estimating support to other Cobra locations across Milwaukee/Madison, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana - Bid and perform projects all over the United States

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Strong blueprint reading skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online take-off software - Experience or interest in concrete flatwork, demolition, or GPR is a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Familiarity with public bids, DOT and non-DOT, State, Municipal, and SAM.gov systems - Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment - Ability and desire to grow within the company

Requirements

- Previous construction, estimating, or project management experience preferred - Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random - Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history - Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
