Summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Estimator III to interact with various staff and manage large and complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Organize and plan estimate preparation
- Facilitate meetings and assign/review work
- Incorporate relevant information and determine trade strategies
- Prepare invitations to bid/budget and obtain/review documents
- Promote collaboration and ensure change management
- Conduct quantity surveys and analyze project data
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Six years of construction industry experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with building and estimating techniques
- Leadership skills and ability to lead multiple projects
- Expertise in BIM and project document quantification
- Industry relationships and knowledge of building systems
- Experience leading estimator teams and using cost history software
- Ability to perform self-performed estimates and analyze past project data

Pay
The base pay range for this role is $109,300 - $164,000, with higher ranges for certain locations. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
