Estimator II
About the role
The Boldt Company is seeking an Estimator II to join their growing Oklahoma City team. This role is ideal for a construction professional with 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, preconstruction services, cost estimating, quantity takeoffs, bid management, subcontractor procurement, conceptual estimating, GMP development, and hard-bid projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to develop accurate project budgets and competitive proposals
- Support a wide range of commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, and mission-critical construction projects
- Review plans and specifications, prepare detailed estimates, analyze construction costs, manage bid packages, and utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, BIM/Revit, WinEst, Microsoft Excel, and construction cost databases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or other related degree required
- An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Two to five years of estimating experience required
Qualifications
- Nice to have experience in the preparation of a complete estimate and all aspects required to complete and estimate and supporting documents
- Exposure to conceptual estimating
- Exposure to Site and Building Systems, Assemblies, and components of each
- Exposure to self-performed estimating which relies on productivity, labor, crew, equipment, and material required for such
- Exposure to Negotiated Guarantee Maximum Price (GMP) as well as Lump Sum (Hard) Bid types of projects
- A strong understanding of excel spreadsheets, database-based software (WinEst), take-off software (On-Center - On Screen Takeoff) scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Primivera) preferred
- Familiarity with BIM tools, such as REVIT and/or Vico, is preferred

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $100,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
