Estimator - Full Time

Job Summary We are seeking an Estimator to generate accurate, competitive bids supporting traffic control projects. This role requires a strong understanding of traffic control plans, specifications, and industry standards. Key responsibilities include analyzing construction plans and traffic control drawings, performing detailed material and labor takeoffs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The estimator will develop project estimates by calculating costs, creating proposals with estimating software, and adjusting pricing based on scope and client needs. Effective client communication is essential, including clarifying project details, revising estimates, and maintaining relationships with clients and contractors. Collaboration with internal teams supports smooth project handoffs and process improvements. Qualifications include FDOT Advanced MOT or ATSSA certification (preferred), proficiency in reading traffic control plans, knowledge of MUTCD and FDOT standards, and strong communication skills. Experience in estimating, construction, or sales, and familiarity with estimating software are preferred. The role demands attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
