The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator. Need to have experience in Xactimate and dealing with Insurance claims. Responsibilities Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locationsCollect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specificationsDetermine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costsGather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible pricesCreate and submit estimates to project managersBudget and forecast using appropriate software Qualifications Xactimate certified Previous experience as an Estimator is preferredAbility to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulasStrong mathematical and analytical skillsSkilled in relevant software Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
