The Role You Will Play
- Prepares and coordinates quantity take-offs
- Communicates with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure an understanding of the scope of work
- Affixes to receive and evaluate subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
- Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
- Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
- Ensures that we have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
- Works with estimating team to strategize final bids
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
- 1+ years as an Estimator for a Waste Water Construction Contractor or 3+ years as an Estimator for a General or Civil Contractor
- Must have experience estimating projects over $10 million
