About the role

Family Owned General Contractors. A well-established and growing commercial construction company north of Boston is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment on a variety of commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during preconstruction.
• Help identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Pay

$120,000 - $160,000 per year
