About the role

Ichor Systems is looking for a highly analytical Estimator to join our team and support the development of competitive quotes and cost estimates for customer programs and new product opportunities. Reporting to the Sr Estimating Manager, this role works cross‑functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales to evaluate material requirements, manufacturing processes, and pricing models. The position requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation in a fast‑paced environment. This is an on‑site position at our Austin, TX location.

Responsibilities

• Quote and prepare competitive bids for orders and new projects.
• Prepare quotes and cost estimates.
• Apply pricing standards/models to costs.
• Work with Engineering/Manufacturing to determine material requirements and manufacturing processes needed to complete quotes/orders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and other departments to determine methods and pricing for new products.
• Maintain effective contact with customers.
• Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to customer programs.
• Work independently with moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of quoting or equivalent work experience.
• B.S. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience.
• Experience with multi‑level bills of material in the semiconductor industry, preferably gas delivery systems.
• Experience reading, using, and understanding engineering prints/drawings/documents.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and VBA.
• Strong analytical and mathematics skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Solid knowledge of MRP, Oracle, and Agile systems.

Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
