About the role
Chapel is hiring an experienced electrical Estimator. The Estimator will estimate contract work, interpret construction documents, and predict project costs, representing the company in various aspects. This position works closely with Owners, Construction, and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and interpret engineering contracts, plans, and specifications to develop detailed, comprehensive construction estimates for both small and large projects.
- Complete estimate take-off within time deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurately define project requirements.
- Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure complete scope of work required.
- Assist in determining project resource requirements in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide liaison support to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all estimates submitted are as accurate and complete as possible.
- Provide timely project turnover documentation from Estimating to Project Management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 5+ years’ experience estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and math skills.
- Accubid experience is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
