About the role
Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full-line supplier, fabricator, and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services for natural gas, waterworks, energy, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the water and sewer industry. Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and present estimates primarily for Water/Wastewater Treatment project proposal activities.
- Provide estimating assistance and guidance to projects.
- Develop conceptual estimates and perform cost analysis.
- Ability to perform accurate material takeoffs for a Complete PVF List of material.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contract specifications and drawings.
- Track incoming project addendums and make necessary changes to the list of material.
- Interact with contractors or engineers when called upon to assist with clarifications.
- Work with project tracking software.
- Crosscheck finished product.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in drafting or estimating in the piping industry preferred.
- Candidates must possess a strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Excel experience required.
- Strong Communication skills.
