Estimating Take-Off Technician

About the role
The CAD Technician will join our Estimating Department in South Charlotte, NC, and will aid in consulting with clients and members of the design and construction teams to discuss specifics for design-build projects.
- Create models and produce quantities for earthwork and underground utility
- Update existing projects with new surfaces from drone files
- Incorporate Geotech information into earthwork files & quantities
- Transfer CAD information into earthwork software
Requirements
- Strong computer background
- Knowledge of CAD-based platforms including Blue Beam Revu, Excel, and Agtek (a plus)
- Ability to work together and communicate as a team
- Ability to multitask while working on multiple projects at the same time
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
- Capacity to handle pressure
- Strong focus on quality and accuracy
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
