Estate Planning Paralegal

Responsibilities

1. Assisting in the preparation and review of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Providing comprehensive transactional legal support, including drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents.
3. Managing and organizing client files and documents, ensuring all information is up-to-date and readily accessible.
4. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memorandums as required.
5. Coinciding and communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to gather necessary information and facilitate estate planning processes.
6. Assisting in the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal or a similar role in the legal industry.
• A bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. A paralegal certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in estate planning software and various legal research tools.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of estate planning, probate laws, and trust administration.
• Exceptional transactional legal support skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
