About the role
The Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida, invites applications for an open-rank (i.e., established assistant, associate, or full professor) tenure-track position in real estate. The Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance recently received substantial gifts totaling over $18 million to enhance our education and research in real estate and finance, creating exceptional opportunities for faculty scholarship, collaboration, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate
- Participate actively in the Center of Real Estate Excellence within the Muma College of Business
- Conduct high-quality research in real estate-related areas
- Excel in the classroom
Qualifications
- Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution (or international equivalent)
- Strong record of achievement in academic research, teaching, and service
- Demonstrated potential to publish in top-level real estate and finance journals
- Evidence of successful collaboration in academic research or professional endeavors
- Evidence of teaching excellence in the real estate area
- Evidence of ability to make service contributions to the university and the profession
- Strong overall quality of the candidate as reflected in letters of recommendation, professional reputation, and personal references
