We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Group Manager to oversee the MoocLab Official Account community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about online education and community building.

About the role

The Group Manager will be responsible for fostering engagement, managing discussions, and ensuring the community remains a valuable resource for members interested in MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and online learning.

Responsibilities

  • Moderate and manage the MoocLab Official Account group, ensuring discussions remain on-topic, respectful, and valuable.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including articles, resources, and discussions related to online learning, career development, and MOOCs.
  • Encourage active participation from group members by initiating discussions, polls, and interactive activities.
  • Monitor group analytics to assess engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the MoocLab team to align group activities with broader organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on trends in online education and share relevant insights with the community.
  • Provide support and guidance to group members seeking advice on courses, career development, or study strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in community management, moderation, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of MOOCs, online learning platforms (e.g., Coursera, FutureLearn, edX), and career development resources.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and community management tools.
  • Passion for education, online learning, and helping others achieve their goals.
