Essbase / EPM Engineer
About the role
This position has two primary responsibilities: Essbase administration and Audit support for AAM business systems.
Responsibilities
Essbase Administration
- Create, delete, and modify Essbase servers and databases.
- Provision users with appropriate roles and access permissions.
- Ensure optimal performance of Essbase applications by monitoring system performance and tuning as necessary.
- Provide support to users, including troubleshooting issues and offering support for configurations to new users.
- Work with IT to manage the hardware and software infrastructure that supports Essbase, such as server maintenance and implementation, and enforce of security measures.
Audit Support
- Participate in all aspects of audits (SOX, GIA - Group Internal Audit, others).
- Plan, risk assess, document, execute, test, review, and follow up to ensure resolution of any identified issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field
- 3-5 Years managing an Essbase instance for a large company
- Possess strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently
- Effective communication with users is crucial for understanding requirements and providing support.
