About the Role
To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs). Assigned educational programs may include both general and special education settings.

Requirements
- ESSA Documentation Required: Yes
- Must meet ESSA proficiency requirements in reading, writing, and math. If you meet any of the below ESSA requirements, you must register this information with the district by attaching transcripts and/or test results to your job application:
- Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester credits or equivalent); or
- Obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or
- Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
