About the role
To improve student achievement by assisting a licensed teacher in the planning and implementation of an educational program, including individualized education programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs in both general and special education settings.
- Support the licensed teacher in providing a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

If selected, you will be asked to participate in an interview process. Interviews are conducted virtually, in person, or via a one-way video.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
- Completion of a postsecondary education program in special education or related field.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Ability to assist in the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
