ESRI Systems Engineer

CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a select Expert GIS Administrator to support the US Special Operations Command in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization and will be located in Fayetteville, NC.

About the role

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESRI GIS and Mapping products: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Earth; as well as other enterprise-wide GIS and associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications. The candidate will perform complex analysis, design, and modification of GIS applications and databases, and evaluation of new GIS hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Administer and deploy ESRI GIS and Mapping Tool Suite: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Earth.
• Administer and deploy open source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
• Write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
• Perform at a high level/expert in intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation.
• Manage the discovery, analysis, and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and its management within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
• Work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data.
• Maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) years GIS experience within DOD or the Intelligence Community.
• Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
• Expert working knowledge of geospatially oriented data and its management within OGC compliant applications and databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $93,500 - $196,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Up to 10% travel within the Continental US may be required.
