ESP Overnight Shift Supervisor, Greenfield

Job Summary

CSO is seeking an Overnight Shift Supervisor for its CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Center) Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Greenfield. The position involves leadership and coordination functions for the counseling staff, as well as regular counselor duties.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship for new employees in orientation, serving as a role model for other program staff
• Coordinate food purchasing and menu planning
• Review and file of observation check sheets, building check sheets and MABHA entries daily
• Report discrepancies to manager
• Establish a 1:1 therapeutic relationship with each program client
• Aid clients with activities of daily living
• Assist with activities related to respite care
• Attend staff meetings and rotate shifts as needed
• Chart and report on daily records
• Monitor respite clients, including hourly bed checks and documentation
• Provide closer observation as needed
• Share observations, interactions, and knowledge to develop 24-hour care plans
• Attend change of shift meetings and provide shift reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two years' experience working with mentally ill individuals (preferred), or two years of supervised internship or field placement experience at a human service agency
• High school diploma with a minimum of five years' experience may be substituted
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• $43,000 - $48,000/year starting salary
