About the role
EF is the world's leading educational travel provider with over 55 years of experience. With our Language Travel Schools, we offer young learners the opportunity to spend 2–4 weeks in North America, improving their English language skills in a robust program while participating in a full-activity program of sports, discos, parties, excursions, and more.
We are looking for someone passionate about international education: enthusiastic, organized, and a natural leader. You should be highly responsible, approachable, and friendly, with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes every weekday following the EF methodology
- Plan and prepare lessons before each class
- Manage classroom environment
- Facilitate testing during the course, including marking tests
- Monitor daily attendance and maintain up-to-date records and paperwork
- Attend all teacher meetings
- Monitor student progress and personal goals to support language improvement
- Ensure the EF behavior code is followed by students and inform management immediately of any issues
- Respond to problems and emergency situations as they arise
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- TEFL certificate or equivalent
- Complete fluency in English
- Experience in the field of education
- Must attend training before contract commences
- Must have the right to live and work in the country of employment
- Must be age 21 or older

Pay
$20.00–$24.00 per hour. Housing provided as a taxable fringe benefit on a limited basis.
