ESL Teacher - High School

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in a high school setting. This includes developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ESL lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Absorb and adapt to new curriculum and instructional methods
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification in ESL or equivalent
• Experience teaching ESL at the high school level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in English
• Knowledge of second language acquisition principles
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success

Pay
