ESIB Solution Architect - REMOTE
About the role
Position Overview The Solution Architect is a key delivery role within Professional Services, responsible for leading the end-to-end solution definition and technical execution for Siemens DI Software implementations across multiple software packages and domains. You work day-to-day with Consultants, Project Managers, QA, and distributed delivery teams to translate business requirements into process-aligned solution designs and to ensure the approved design is implemented correctly. In this role, you lead the technical direction of the project from Solution Definition through build, test, and deployment—driving architecture decisions, authoring and governing functional specifications and Solution Link work you're doing, and ensuring delivery aligns to Siemens standard methodologies and the Siemens Delivery framework. You work closely with the customer throughout delivery and are typically the customer-facing representative of Siemens. You proactively lead scope, risks, dependencies, and design changes, and you keep partners aligned through clear, timely communication, including where multiple applications and cross-domain capabilities must work together as an integrated solution. You serve as the customer’s trusted advisor during delivery, balancing immediate project needs with long-term roadmap considerations to support adoption and sustainable outcomes. You operate with a high degree of autonomy on projects of basic to moderate complexity and supply reusable assets, lessons learned, and standards through the Zone Solution Architecture Community of Practice. This position collaborates with the Electronics, Semiconductor, Industrial Machinery, and Battery Business Unit’s Technical Delivery Office; experience in these industries is a plus but not required.
