About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining an active Escrow License and ensuring compliance with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing commitments, T-64 affidavits, policies, deposits, and disbursements for accuracy and signature authorization
- Initiating wire transfers and printing checks
- Ensuring timely delivery of executed documents
- Monitoring and communicating audit-related correspondence to legal and management teams
- Assisting with quarterly TTIGA payment processing as needed
- Supporting other regulatory and operational requirements to maintain compliance with Texas title insurance standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Baccalaureate degree preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in the closing and/or funding department with title or escrow company required
- Work under general supervision
- Strong customer service skills required
- National purchase and refinance experience preferred
- Experience utilizing ResWare or similar software preferred
- TX Escrow License and on-site Management training completion preferred

Work Environment
This is primarily a sedentary office position, which requires the employee to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Requires driving. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
