Key Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract execution through closing while ensuring compliance with applicable Texas regulations and industry standards.
- Review title commitments, financing documentation, and transaction details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Cook up coordination with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and other stakeholders throughout the closing process.
- Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and required closing documentation.
- Maintain accurate transaction files and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of title, funding, and closing-related issues.
National Settlement Operations
- Assist with settlement and closing activities for transactions occurring in multiple states.
- Support remote and hybrid closing processes while adhering to jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain service quality, compliance standards, and transaction timelines.
- Develop familiarity with varying state regulations, settlement practices, and closing documentation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Review borrower and loan information for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare commitments, title policies, disclosures, settlement packages, and related documentation using industry software systems.
- Participate in operational improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Support departmental goals by maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Escrow Officer License.
- Demonstrated experience handling Texas real estate closings and escrow transactions.
- Strong understanding of Texas title and settlement practices, regulatory requirements, and closing procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience preparing and reviewing closing disclosures, settlement statements, contracts, and escrow-related documents.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-state settlement or closing operations.
- Familiarity with remote online notarization (RON) processes and virtual closing platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and national title underwriting standards.
- Experience handling both purchase and refinance transactions.
- Proficiency with title and escrow software platforms, including Qualia, SoftPro, or similar systems.
