Responsibilities
- Assist Escrow Officers as required
- Prepare preliminary CDs for lenders
- Submit title commitments, tax certs, HOA documents, CPLs, preliminary CDs, and other required documentation to the lender
- Scan, upload, and organize documents in compliance with company and Texas Department of Insurance (“TDI”) regulations
- Verify accuracy of basic information such as names, addresses, and property details
- Provide status updates to clients and agents as required
- Ensure tax statement is current and, in the file
- Review Schedule B&C items and identify issues requiring Escrow Officer attention
- Review survey and send copy to underwriter for approval
- Request payoffs for buyer as necessary
- Request bring-to-dates as needed
- Absorb and assist in post-closing duties as needed
- Phone duty as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of all clients and transaction information
- Follow company policies and TDI guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training on escrow processes and company procedure
- Maintain Notary Public commission in good standing
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Experience Qualifications: 1-3 years’ service with Green Brick Title, or similar experience with another title company. Proficient with Qualia. Escrow License required for regulatory compliance with transaction functions. Notary Public, required.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry, particularly related to single family development and lot takedowns
- High level understanding title exceptions and curative actions
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Team player
- Organization skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
