About the Role
Put your administrative, support, and interpersonal skills to work with a team that’s leading the industry in transforming residential real estate transactions. As an Escrow Assistant, you’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing critical administrative and customer support to our Escrow team. This position plays a key role in helping make the dream of homeownership a reality. We’re seeking someone with the drive and potential to grow—an individual looking for a long-term career path at First American and eager to learn, contribute, and advance within our organization. This is an in-office role, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the escrow process, such as opening orders, inputting closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, handling the complete disbursement, and follow-up.
- Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process flow.
- Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings.
- Work with a variety of technologies to enable escrow transactions, assisting customers to ensure a phenomenal customer experience.
Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication with both internal teams and external customers.
- Problem solver with strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn.
- Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
Pay
Pay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 hourly. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
