About the role
The eSales Agent engages with customers contacting the dealership to purchase new and/or pre-owned vehicles. The goal is to generate sales appointments and drive customers to the dealership by handling internet inquiries, phone calls, and chats while delivering a premium customer experience. This position uses lead management tools and CRM software to manage guest engagement and requires training in dealership products, services, inventory, finance, and incentive programs. Compensation is tied to appointment and sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls, internet inquiries, and chats
- Provide timely, relevant responses to address customer questions and needs
- Facilitate price and purchasing information for guests
- Provide payment options and quotes
- Generate sales and acquisition appointments
- Manage organizers to stay up to date with follow-up of all active guests
- Adhere to specific outreach cadence required for new inquiries
- Maintain a thorough understanding of KPIs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of call center or sales-focused experience
- Able to set priorities, multi-task, and achieve goals
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly proficient in verbal phone skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be adaptable to change
- Proficient using a computer
- Evening and weekend schedule availability required
