ERSEA Assistant Manager
About the role
Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children and families in Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs. We provide free educational childcare and daycare programs, along with various child and family support services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, implementing, and supervising a high-quality program in the Agency's service area.
- Ensure compliance with performance standards related to social services, eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance.
- Assist with the implementation of services by performing tasks such as managing resources, coordinating staff, and ensuring program quality.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Social Services, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant on-the-job training and experience.
- At least 1-3 years of job-related experience, including the ERSEA Credential.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about the availability of Head Start/EHS eligible children.
- Familiarity with the policies and procedures of all programs.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in business information systems and computer-related fields.

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
