ERP Platform Developer

About the Role

The ERP Platform Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations and custom applications that connect Workday and Ariba with internal and external systems. This role focuses on modern integration practices and contributes to the transition to SAP Ariba's Business Technology Platform, supporting platform evolution and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains integrations between Workday, Ariba, and external systems.
• Develops and sustains custom Workday Extend applications.
• Supports integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP Ariba.
• Builds and optimizes Ariba master and transactional data integrations.
• Collaborates with IT teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations.
• Contributes to SAP Ariba BTP transition initiatives, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Applies software engineering principles to manage the integration lifecycle.
• Provides on-call support and troubleshooting for integration environments.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in web service/API technologies: WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, XSLT.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Groovy, etc.).
• Experience with integration design and development for cloud-based platforms.
• 3-5 years of Workday or Ariba integration development experience.
• Experience building Workday integrations using Studio, Cloud Connector, EIBs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Ariba REST APIs, ITK, and Configuration Management.
• Strong background in monitoring, alerting, and error handling for integrations.
• Ability to work with third-party data inquiries and coordinate effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Ariba BTP and cloud integration tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise data management and integration best practices.
