ERP Application Developer

This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with a salary range of $100,000–$150,000 annually. We are seeking a candidate with 6+ years of experience and are open to U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex calculated fields, custom reports, and advanced reports using the Workday report writer
• Build composite reports, matrix reports, and dashboards supporting business decision-making
• Configure and maintain business processes, condition rules, and approval routing across HCM and Finance
• Develop Workday Extend applications and PRISM analytics where appropriate
• Build report-as-a-service integrations and support data export needs for downstream systems
• Configure security domains, role-based security, and segment-based security across complex tenants
• Partner with HR, payroll, and finance stakeholders to translate requirements into Workday configurations
• Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, calculated fields, and security models
• Support Workday tenant refreshes, regression testing cycles, and platform release adoption
• Troubleshoot configuration and report issues in production tenants
• Collaborate closely with integration developers on report-driven data flows
• Provide guidance on Workday best practices and configuration design patterns
• Participate in Workday community forums, brainstorms, and product feedback channels
• Stay current with Workday releases and platform innovations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Five or more years of Workday technical experience
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer including advanced and composite reports
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release process
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Workday Pro certifications
• Experience with Workday Extend application development
• Familiarity with PRISM data ingestion and modeling
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region Workday deployments
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials
