ERP Analyst

About the role

Johnson Service Group is seeking an ERP Analyst who applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of SAP or PeopleSoft client/server applications to meet the company's requirements and systems needs. The role involves analyzing business processes, providing solutions for SAP configuration, performing gap analysis, and supporting project implementation phases such as blueprint, configuration, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Production Operations business processes and procedures for improvement and system applicability.
• Provide clearly defined solutions supporting Manufacturing Production Operations for SAP configuration and business processes.
• Perform gap analysis and system re-engineering of SAP activities.
• Design, develop, configure, and conduct unit testing for SAP project implementation phases (blueprint, configuration, testing, and production support).
• Author functional specifications for enhancements, conversions, interfaces, and integration between SAP ERP and Team Center PLM and Apriso MES Systems.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and document processes.
• Develop training documentation and scripts using SAP methodologies for the end-user community.
• Write functional requirements, develop test plans, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements are met.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise application implementation at higher levels.

Requirements

Candidates must have prior Lockheed Aeronautics (LM Aero) experience, specifically:

• Experience authoring functional specifications based on customer requirements.
• Experience working with ABAP developers to design and standardize customized functional solutions.
• Ability to facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Application of support, project management skills, and functional knowledge to meet operational business needs.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SAP ERP with expertise in the following areas and understanding of their integration with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System):

• Master Data: Material Masters, Work Centers, MBOMs, Task Lists (Routings, Ref Op Sets, and General Maintenance Task Lists), and Change Masters.
• Order Data: Production Orders, Refurbishment Orders, and Network Orders.
• Order Functionality: Order Release, Order Splits, Order Confirmations, Order Scraps, Order Cancellations, Order Date Revisions, Line Rejects, Part Number Rolls, and Major Component Swaps.
