Erosion Control Supervisor / Foreman

Position Overview Southeastern Site Development is seeking an experienced, dependable Erosion Control Supervisor or Foreman to lead crews and oversee erosion-control operations. This will include managing and farming all hay fields. Responsibilities Include Supervising and coordinating daily crew activities Installing and maintaining silt fencing, inlet protection, check dams, matting, and other BMPs Reading site plans and identifying required erosion-control measures Inspecting job sites and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements Maintaining accurate records and coordinating materials and equipment Communicating effectively with project managers, inspectors, and field personnelPermanent / Temporary GrassingFertilizing and Seeding hay fields Baling mulch hay, large round and square bales for use as mulch / livestock feedOperating round hay bale blowers and small square balesInstalling 5 strand barbed wire or GDOT fencing as required on plans Qualified Applicants Should Have Previous erosion-control, grading, or site-development experienceStrong leadership and organizational skillsKnowledge of erosion-control BMPs and job-site safetyA valid driver's license and reliable transportationThe ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsGeorgia Blue Card certification preferred We offer Competitive pay based on experience, steady full-time work, and opportunities for advancement.
