About the role
Erosion Control Laborers are needed to perform various tasks related to erosion control projects. This includes but is not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures such as silt fences, straw wattles, and geotextiles.
- Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
- Handle equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and dump trucks as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Experience in construction or related field preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
