Ergon Associated Asphalt Partners - Terminal Operator II

Terminal Operator II – full‑time position at Ergon Asphalt Partners’ Greensboro, NC facility. The role involves working with a tight‑knit team to produce high‑quality asphalt binder, supporting Operator I staff, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
• Work independently and as a team player.
• Perform all Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Align valves and operate pumps.
• Conduct blending functions.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Conduct quality‑control testing using DSR & Brookfield equipment where applicable.
• Other duties as required by the Terminal Manager.

Qualifications

• General computer skills and PC knowledge.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Stable work history.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or walk for long periods on concrete floors and outdoor surfaces.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including cold, hot, and humid temperatures.
• Manual dexterity, ability to reach, bend, and move with agility.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lb.
