Responsibilities

• Think quickly and act with intention in high-pressure situations
• Triage and assess critical cases
• Nurse hospitalized patients
• Provide clinical support during examinations
• Maintain anesthetized and critical patients
• Perform radiography and diagnostic imaging
• Administer anesthesia and monitor anesthetized patients
• Conduct laboratory procedures and diagnostics
• Administer medications (oral, IV, IM, and SQ)
• Place IV catheters and prepare for surgery

Requirements

• Experience in veterinary emergency medicine
• Strong foundation in triage and assessment of critical cases
• Proven nursing skills for hospitalized patients
• Ability to provide clinical support during examinations
• Knowledge of anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring
• Proficiency in laboratory procedures and diagnostics
• Skilled in medication administration
• Experience with IV catheter placement and surgical preparation

Qualifications

• Confidence and skill in canine and feline handling
