ER Veterinarian Practice Manager -Brentwood NH

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
Administrate all human resource functions including staff recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, and terminations.
Manage annual performance evaluations.
Implement and maintain Employee Safety and Disaster Plan procedures and manuals.
Assure compliance with OSHA and Workers’ Compensation programs.
Distribute all necessary communication materials with staff, including policy changes, relevant information discussed at meetings, and client feedback.
Mediate personnel grievances, documenting all reprimands and counseling meetings.
Keep CVP management informed of all relevant issues regarding staff, client issues, premises or equipment needs, etc.
Respond to client concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. Resolve medical client complaints in partnership with the Lead Veterinarian and RDO.
Implement marketing activities in partnership with CVP and the Lead Veterinarian.
Assure premises, physical plant and equipment are in safe, clean, and optimum working condition, including the scheduling of regular maintenance.
Assure compliance with all regulatory issues including radiation monitoring, business permits and licenses, and animal control ordinances.
Maintain, and when necessary, amend client education handouts.
Schedule and attend all required meetings, including staff meetings and the hospital leadership team meeting.
Administer the hospital’s patient reminder system.
Oversee implementation of client wellness program and guidelines and monitor compliance in partnership with CVP.
Monitor the hospital email.
Manage the hospital practice management system.
Monitor the hospital’s financial progress, analyze results, and adjust, if necessary, to ensure all budget goals are achieved.
Partner with RDO to submit capital expense requests per CVP guidelines.
Verify accuracy of vendor statements and match appropriate invoices to statements.
Prepare the weekly CVP Business Package.
Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process.
Manage daily cash, check deposits, and manage local banking relationships.
In addition, the Practice Manager may work scheduled shifts during which he or she will be responsible for providing client service and/or direct patient care.
Requirements
4+ years Hospital management experience, especially in Emergency/Specialty preferred.
College Preferred.
Certification in Veterinary Practice Management preferred.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with hospital management software.
