ER Veterinarian
About the Role
Willamette Veterinary Hospital, located in Corvallis, Oregon, is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal general practice and 24/7 emergency hospital. This unique hybrid environment allows you to handle complex cases while maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. Our state-of-the-art facility includes an in-house lab, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, a Snyder oxygen cage, blood products, a therapy laser, and a CO₂ laser for advanced soft tissue surgeries. We use Cornerstone for electronic medical records to ensure seamless documentation and workflow.
Emergency doctors at WVH manage hospitalized cases, outpatient emergencies, and perform a variety of advanced soft tissue surgeries. Access to an orthopedic surgeon for on-site procedures or referral is available. Comfort with surgery and/or a willingness to learn are necessary for this role. Our doctors rotate through day, swing, and overnight shifts, averaging 10-14 shifts per month.
We prioritize collaboration and a healthy work-life balance, supported by a 3:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, including dedicated ER and ICU technicians for continuity of care.
