Veterinary Website Development Specialist

EVCC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Website Development Specialist to join our team. We are a leading provider of veterinary practice management solutions.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating user-friendly, visually appealing websites for veterinary practices. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary website solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices
• Implement responsive design to ensure optimal viewing on various devices
• Optimize websites for search engines
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep websites current and secure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in web development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
• Experience with WordPress, Drupal, or similar CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary practices and terminology is a plus
• Experience with veterinary-specific software and tools is a plus
