ER Technician II - Emergency Department

Role Overview: The ER Technician II provides essential patient care support in emergency settings, assisting with therapeutic treatments, laboratory operations, patient discharge, and education. This role supports the mission and values of the healthcare system. Key Responsibilities Perform basic patient care duties and assist with direct patient interactions.Operate laboratory equipment and support clinical procedures.Assist with patient discharge processes and provide education to patients and families.Support emergency services staff in delivering quality care. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED.Current Texas or National EMT-P certification, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardio Life Support certifications.Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience. Additional Information: The position is PRN with variable days and shifts, requiring flexibility.
