Responsibilities

• Rounds with previous shift staff to receive report on care given to patients.
• Delivers care using the mission, vision, and value statements, incorporating patient-centric behaviors daily.
• Promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Provides care to patients in accordance with standards of care, including assistance with hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living.
• Maintains patient skin integrity by turning and repositioning patients, preventing skin shearing, and notifying nurses of skin breakdown.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent if hold a current CNA license or EMT license OR
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing program and has completed the first semester of Nursing Fundamentals OR
• Has completed an accredited nursing program within one (1) year and has not obtained their license for Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) OR
• Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) OR
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR
• NHA Patient Care Technician (CPCT)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

$16.14 - $25.83 per hour
