About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide patient care and perform assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This role is based at Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, a network of hospitals and physician practices serving Southern Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and service tasks
• Understand and follow safety protocols
• Work closely with the Registered Nurse team
• Perform assigned duties as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS Certification
• Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred
• IV Certification preferred

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required, approved Crisis Management Course required, certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred, certified phlebotomist preferred, IV certification preferred
