ER Tech - Milford Regional - 24 hours, Nights

Major Responsibilities

• Auxiliary patients with activities of daily living (e.g., hygiene, ambulation, toileting, nourishment).
• Collect specimens and perform measurements (e.g., vital signs, EKGs, blood glucose).
• Assist in examinations and treatments (e.g., CPR, IV discontinuation, sterile tray setup).
• Apply protective and therapeutic devices as directed.
• Transport patients and equipment safely.

Operational Support

• Maintain and clean equipment.
• Stock and prepare rooms with necessary supplies.
• Clean rooms and stretchers between patients using hospital-approved disinfectants.

Communication and Documentation

• Communicate clearly and promptly with RNs regarding patient status.
• Document all care activities in the medical record.
• Report physical or behavioral changes in patients to the RN.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, or EMT/EMT-I certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical-related field preferred.
