About the role

The ER Tech will assist in providing basic patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for examination and treatment
• Assist in collecting specimens for laboratory testing
• Assist in monitoring vital signs
• Assist in administering medications as ordered
• Assist in transporting patients between areas of the hospital
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or equivalent
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
