About the Role
As an Emergency Room Tech, you will support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. You will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit. Your role will involve executing delegated tasks, supporting unit operations, and contributing to a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice.
- Assist in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Assist with patient transport and transfer.
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to safety and risk management standards.
Requirements
- High School GED or equivalent in General Studies.
- Completion of one of the following programs that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, OR
- Medical Assistant program, OR
- Certified Nursing Assistant Program, OR
- Licensed Practical Nurse program, OR
- Completion of one year of nursing school.
- One of the following certifications/licenses (WA state):
- Certified Nursing Assistant, OR
- Licensed Practical Nurse, OR
- Medical Assistant Certification, OR
- Registered Nursing Assistant.
- Basic Life Support - CPR certification.
- Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist certification (WA state, within 6 months of hire).

Pay
$25.77 - $39.91 per hour.
