Responsibilities
- Fostering a culture that supports the development of engaged and empowered caregivers.
- Working collaboratively with the Medical Director to oversee Emergency Services within the hospital.
- Serving as a key liaison between the Emergency and Specialty teams to ensure outstanding patient care and continuity.
- Supporting the Medical Director in the operational and strategic management of the ER department.
- Actively participating in ER doctor recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and professional development.
- Creating and maintaining the ER doctor schedule.
- Helping provide an exceptional referral partner experience and assisting with client concern resolution.
- Driving clinical excellence and supporting a positive, collaborative hospital culture.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Emergency Veterinarian.
- Experience in leadership roles within an emergency or specialty veterinary setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop colleagues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Medicine.
- Experience with ER doctor recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of hospital scheduling systems and software.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
