ER Customer Service Representative

About the role

Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at South Saunders in Raleigh is seeking a customer service representative to join their strong ER team, providing high-quality urgent and emergency care services to the community.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from pet owners seeking advice or scheduling appointments
• Answer questions about hospital policies and procedures
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
• Ensure smooth operation of the front desk during busy times
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and data entry

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15 - $18 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
