Conduct research
- Independently formulate investment recommendations on individual securities within the technology sector, considering forecasted growth, competitive positioning, quality of financial reporting, and management.
- Construct models to identify key questions, critical drivers, and future revenue, earnings, and cash flows.
- Undertake research visits and meetings to deepen industry expertise, engaging with competitors, customers, suppliers, and other relevant constituents.
- Compile and communicate research findings through written notes, reports, and presentations.

Must have skills
- Four-year degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
- 3-5 years of equity investment analyst experience, preferably on the buy side; or an MBA degree with 2+ years post-MBA experience.
- Strong stock picking skills and a proven track record of adding value.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in building and maintaining financial models.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Curiosity, initiative, and drive.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and function effectively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to have skills
- Post-graduate degree such as MBA.
- CFA and/or CPA.
- Experience covering the technology sector within an equity research or investment role.
- Experience in investment areas.
Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through August 9, 2026.
