Equity Research Analyst – Biotech/Pharmaceutical - Ft. Lauderdale
About the role
The Templeton Global Equity Group seeks a Senior Equity Research Analyst to cover the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in fundamental analysis covering these sectors, possess strong numeric and investment skills, and have a track record of making investment recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently identify and evaluate profitable investment opportunities among listed companies in the US and broader Americas.
- Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet, and income statement evaluations.
- Communicate and advocate for investment opportunities verbally and through written research reports.
- Contribute to relevant equity portfolios as a team member.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of fundamental equity research experience covering the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors as an equity analyst.
- Strong numeric, analytical, and investment skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong investment performance track record.
- Bachelor's degree and CFA required. MBA preferred.
- Buy-side equity research experience with similar coverage.

The annual salary for this position ranges between $160,000 to $200,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus, depending on location and level of relevant experience.
