About the role

This position involves working closely with the Business on structuring, sale, negotiation, documentation, and execution of a wide range of equity products, with a primary focus on OTC equity derivatives and swaps, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, equity and fund-linked loans, structured notes, and proprietary indices.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis, and launch of new products and businesses.
  • Interpret, educate, and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes impacting Equities businesses.
  • Advise the Business, Risk, Compliance, and other internal teams on legal and regulatory issues, developments, and risks relating to Equities businesses.
  • Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts regarding regulatory changes impacting Equities businesses.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with equity products, including OTC derivatives and swaps.
  • Familiarity with ISDA and other industry documentation.
  • Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance, and bankruptcy laws and related issues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs.
  • Strong team player.

Pay

The expected base pay range at commencement of employment is $280,000–$350,000 per year. Total compensation may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (vacation, sick time, parental leave).
