Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business on the structuring, sale, negotiation, documentation, and execution of a wide range of equity products, with a primary focus on OTC equity derivatives and swaps, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, equity and fund-linked loans, structured notes, and proprietary indices.
  • Advise and assist in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis, and launch of new products and businesses.
  • Interpret, educate, and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes that impact Equities businesses.
  • Advise the Business, Risk, Compliance, and others internally regarding legal and regulatory issues, developments, and risks relating to Equities businesses.
  • Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts relating to regulatory changes impacting Equities businesses.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with equity products, including OTC derivatives and swaps.
  • Familiarity with ISDA and other industry documentation.
  • Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance, and bankruptcy laws and related issues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to interact effectively and work collaboratively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs.
  • Strong team player.

Pay

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $280,000 - $350,000 per year.
